The Faculty of Health Sciences held an event entitled “The Importance of Affiliation with the Health Professions Syndicate after Graduation” in cooperation with the Health Professions Syndicate, Homs Branch, at the Faculty of Medicine.
President of Al Baath University, Prof. Abdul Basit Al Khatib, confirmed that the university provides full support for these activities which help students to know their unions that contribute to improving their working conditions and enhancing their common experiences.
Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Hazem Dahman, pointed to the importance of affiliation with the health professions syndicate and the services it provides.
The faculty deputy dean for health affairs, Prof. Salah Ghazi, pointed out that the aim of the event is to provide an overview of the establishment of the Health Professions Syndicate, its role in society and the importance of the services it provides to graduates.
In conclusion, the discussion and questions were opened, and the inquiries were answered by the attendees.
The event was attended by the head of the Syndicate of Health and Medical Professions in Syria and its deputy, the head of the Syndicate of Health Professions in Homs, and a number of interested individuals.
