Al-Baath University postpones the exams of postgraduate studies (master) for the academic year 2023-2024

13/10/2024President of Al-Baath University, Prof. Abdul Basit Al Khatib, and the secretary of B.A.S.P branch at the university, Prof. Fayeq Shadood, inspected the first session of the unified medical examination of Syrian universities, which was conducted by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation for sixth-year students and those wishing to apply for the admission sorting of postgraduate studies in the faculties of medicine in Syrian public and private universities as well as non-Syrian universities.
Prof. Al Khatib confirmed that the first session of the exam included 120 questions in the specialties of pediatrics, internal medicine, dermatology, and laboratory, noting that the second session exam will be held on the 24th of this month. He also explained that the number of students who took the exam reached (590) students at Al-Baath University Center; 498 students from Al-Baath University students, and 92 students from private universities and non-Syrian universities.
It should be noted that the passing mark for the unified written medical examination for Syrian university students is 60%, the student receives two points of exam assistance.
The university vice-president for scientific affairs, Prof. Maan Salameh, and the deanship of the Faculty of Medicine participated in the inspection tour.
