Start of receiving applications for the admisssion sorting of the Faculty of Music Education at Al-Baath University

Al-Baath University has started to receive applications for the admission sorting of the Faculty of Music Education ( regular and parallel education) for the academic year 2024/2025. The university vice-president for students and administrative affairs, Prof. Nidal Sattouf, has indicated that submitting applications lasts until Monday 9/16/2024 and that Syrian students and their equivalents as well as Arab and foreign students who are under the age of 26 and hold a secondary school certificate (in all its branches) are entitled to apply for the admission sorting. He has also pointed out that the Faculty of Music Education will not be included in the announcement of the general sorting of university admission eligibility for the academic year 2024-2025, as the admission to the faculty will be based on the result of the faculty admission sorting. Moreover, he has referred that the students wishing to apply for the faculty admission sorting can apply for the general admission sorting at the same time and that their application of the general admission sorting will be canceled if they are admitted to the faculty admission sorting.   Dean of the Faculty of Music Education, Prof. Jihad Attia, has stated that the results will be announced on Thursday 9/19/2024, after conducting the admission test on 17-18-19 September 2024 in the faculty. In addition, He has explained that the applicant must be proficient in playing one or more musical instruments and be familiar with the principles of musical notation and culture, as new students will be accepted based on the results of the faculty admission sorting
