President of Al-Baath University, Prof. Abdul Basit Al Khatib, praised their efforts in the fields of scientific research and innovation that help the university to achieve excellence worldwide, indicating that the external scientific publishing is the key to disseminate knowledge and intellectual product for developing science and communities .
Secretary of B.A.S.P branch at the university, Prof. Fayeq Shadood, confirmed that the university has a national and pioneering role in the field of scientific research, pointing out that the honor was to encourage and motivate university faculty members to promote scientific research by publishing it in distinguished international journals.
The university vice-president for scientific research and postgraduate studies, Prof. Mahmoud Hadid, who was honored for publishing three researches, indicated that the university is keen to honor postgraduate students and faculty members twice a year for publishing researches in international journals and that the university also gives cash prizes to support and encourage them to continue scientific research and publish it externally, which contributes to the improvement of university ranking.

The honoring ceremony was attended by the secretary of B.A.S.P branch at the university, Prof. Fayeq Shadood, the member of party leadership at the university branch, Prof. Adnan Sheikh Hammoud, head of teachers’ syndicate, Prof. Abdul Razzaq Al-Sufi, deans of faculties, and a crowd of interested people.
