Overview of rules of procedures for university residence
Documents required for applying to the university residence:
- Residence file distributed free of charge
- New civil record
- Residence permit
- Two personal photos
Admission requirements for students:
- Student should be enrolled in one of the faculties and institutes run by the Ministry of Higher Education
- Student should not be from the city where the university is located.
- Student should not be paid from governmental departments and institutions
- Students should not have been sentenced to any disciplinary sanction except warning and alerting.
- Student should be financially acquitted by the university.
- Student should not be failed in the examination of the academic year preceding the application for admission to the city
Residence fees:
- residence fees for students are 300 Syrian pounds per month paid for the entire months, from the beginning of stay until the end of the residence period.
- Residency fees for professors are 6000 SYP per month.
- Residence fees for staff are 4000 SYP per month.
- Residency fees for master’s students are 2000 SYP per month.
Important Notes:
- 30% discount on the sibling residence fees.
- 50% discount on the handicapped residence fees
- 75% discount on the residence fees of martyrs’ families.
- Children of martyrs are exempted from paying residence fees
