Faculties

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Al-Baath University was established by the legislative decree No. /2109/ dated 10/25/1982, and it is situated in Homs. The faculty moved to its new building, which consists of 7 blocks within the university campus. It includes the following departments: Arabic language department- English language department – French language department – history department.

The Faculty of Law will remain the source of truth and justice and the crucible from which the great youth would emerge. It will remain the fortress for upholding the law and bringing down the rule of the judiciary and interested in the idea of legality. For the children of the central region, which opened for the 2006/2007 school year and received first-year students for the aforementioned school year

The Faculty of Tourism was established at Al-Baath University in Homs based on Legislative Decree No. /114/ and it was inaugurated starting from the 2006/2007 academic year. The faculty grants two different degrees in tourism sciences and hotel management

The College of Education at Al-Baath University was opened in 1997. It is located inside the university campus in the city of Homs. The teaching staff consists of 87 faculty members, and it consists of the following departments: Department of Psychological Counseling – Department of Curricula and Teaching Methods – Department of Child Education

The Second College of Education was established at Al-Baath University in 2009. It consists of nine departments, of which the classroom teacher department was opened according to the internal regulations issued by Republican Decree No. 336 dated 2/8/2009: Class teacher department (the duration of study is four years) in addition to the educational qualification diploma (the duration of study is one year)

According to Legislative Decree No. 153 dated 16/4/2003, which includes the events of the College of Music Education at Al-Baath University, the college was opened as of the 2003/2004 academic year. Accordingly, work was carried out in two phases, preparing a special suite for the college laboratories, which includes 16 laboratories for individual training – a computer laboratory – Group training laboratory – the lecture hall. The entire work of the wing was completed on 14/7/2005. The third phase of the laboratories wing, which includes 20 individual training rooms, was completed. The third stage was inaugurated on 12/12/2007

The college was established in 2014/2015 and contains the Department of Business Administration, which begins in the third year. The College of Economics seeks to achieve quality and excellence and reach a high position in higher education through a distinguished environment for teaching, learning and scientific research in the fields of economics and various specialized administrative sciences to suit the labor market and provide Services to the community

The Faculty of Science was established on the basis of creating an educational unit located in the city of Homs affiliated to the University of Damascus by Legislative Decree /1262/ dated 7/30/1977 and by issuing Legislative Decree No. /44/ dated 9/14/1979 containing the creation of Al-Baath University, where the Faculty of Science was considered one of the colleges Al-Baath University, and the College of Science consists of: Department of Mathematics – Department of Mathematical Statistics – Department of Physics – Department of Chemistry – Department of Biology – Department of Geology

The Second College of Science in Palmyra, affiliated with Al-Baath University, was established by Legislative Decree No. 283/ dated 7/7/2010. Since its establishment, the Second College of Science in Palmyra has maintained its civilized role in spreading science and knowledge and keeping pace with development and modernization in curricula.
