Al Baath University and the Capacity and Employment Academy MEDICA Gmbh in Leipzig, Germany, organized a symposium entitled “The reality of medical work in Germany and the reality of medical work in Syria” at the Faculty of Dentistry, Al Baath University.
President of Al Baath University, Prof. Abdul Basit Al Khatib, stressed the importance of this scientific symposium during which both parties present everything related to medical work in hospitals and provide a detailed explanation to the students on how to study in Germany. He also emphasized that Syrian students have a high level of skills in their medical specialties and are able to practice work and continue their studies in new specializations that serve the labor market and reconstruction of Syria in an academically grounded and distinguished manner.
Prof. Husseini Al majid and the chairman of the board of the academy underlined the importance of joint cooperation between the two parties, in particular with regard to the medical field between the two countries, specializations and the reality of work. In addition, he indicated that Germany has vacancies in the medical field that exceed one million opportunities, stressing that the scientific agreement signed by the academy and Al Baath University will be significant to the scientific work.
Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry,Prof. Qusai Al munajid, pointed out that the symposium explained to the students a lot of important information related to their studies before and after graduation, noting that the university provides everything necessary to improve the quality of work at the faculty.
Dr. Eve Erlichman Dagher, Director of the Academy of Languages and Abilities in Germany, made an extensive presentation on the number and data of medical studies in Germany and how to admit baccalaureate students or graduates from the faculties of medicine. She also showed students how to work in private, public and university hospitals.
Prof. Adnan Sheikh Hammoud, a member of Al Baath party leadership at the university branch, teaching and educational staff of the Faculty of Dentistry and a large crowd of medical faculty students attended the symposium.
