Inaugurating the fifth scientific dental conference at Al Baath University

The Faculty of Dentistry inaugurated its fifth scientific dental conference, entitled “Digital Dentistry between Reality and Application,” in cooperation with the Arab Private University for Science and Technology and the branch of the Dental Syndicate in Homs.

Vice President for Students and Administrative Affairs, Prof.Elias Boutros, indicated to the importance of this conference, which seeks to provide the finest technology as well as diagnostic and therapeutic techniques within the field of digital dentistry based on cognitive science and practical applications with an advanced scientific concept that presents everything new to develop the community service. He also pointed out that the establishment of scientific conferences at Al Baath University is a step in the right direction to achieve the higher education goals as this conference is a significant opportunity for exchanging expertise at the academic and research level and developing the students’ skills for practicing the dental profession expertly.

For his part, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Qusai Al-Munajjid,stressed the importance of holding the fifth conference which keeps pace with the developments in dental sciences and allows the exchange of experience and knowledge between participating researchers and students, noting that the faculty always seeks to be a scientific and civilizational edifice that provides students with the best prospects for dentistry.

The conference lasts for two days, and includes 24 lectures.

It included the opening of an exhibition of the latest dental appliances, in addition to a number of medical products.

Members of the party leadership at the university branch, the head of Homs Dental Syndicate, and a crowd of interested people attended the conference.
