Al-Baath University hosts a lecture by Russian Professor Ibrahim Ibrahimov on promoting spiritual and moral values

Within the framework of strengthening joint Russian-Syrian relations in various fields, Al-Baath University, in cooperation with the Russian Cultural Center, held a lecture given by prof. Ibrahim Ibrahimov, Vice-President of Pyatigorsk State University, on “Promoting spiritual and moral values in Russia by establishing the family traditions and their role in preserving society”. President of Al-Baath University, Prof. Abdul Basit Al Khatib, has confirmed that the university is always working to enhance qualitative meetings between the students and the distinguished researchers in various fields, including the meeting with Prof.Ibrahim, which is considered a unique opportunity for students to discuss topics of interest to students and society. The aim of organizing this lecture is to enhance spiritual and moral values through divine legislation that fortifies and supports the family by building effective individuals in their countries. Prof. Ibrahim Ibrahimov explained the importance of spiritual and moral values in our life as they are the same moral guidelines of traditional religions that call for dignity, justice, mercy and unity. He also indicated to their role in combating terrorism and wished that peace and security would prevail in Syria.
