11/11/2024Applying for the admission sorting has started at four registration centers in the faculties of informatics engineering, civil engineering and architecture, and the directorate of students’affairs. It lasts till 14 November 2014.The university president, Prof. Abdul Basit Al Khatib, and the secretary of B.A.S.P branch at the university, Prof. Fayeq Shadood, indicated during their observation tour to the registration centers that all requirements have been provided. They also pointed out that there are four registration centers at the faculties: Faculty of Informatics Engineering (literary branch) – Faculty of Civil Engineering (scientific branch) – Faculty of Architecture (vocational secondary) and at the Student Affairs Directorate (people with special needs – the wounded and their families – Arab and Foreign Students – families of martyrs – holders of technical institute certificates – children of Syrian mothers – special certificates). All announcements of admission sorting and required documents have been previously posted on the official websites of the university.
It is noteworthy that the open education programs at Al-Baath University are: legal studies, translation (English language), tourism guidance, kindergarten, marketing and e-commerce. small and medium-sized enterprise management. as the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has identified the admission mechanism for secondary certificates. The percentages were determined as follows: 15 percent for those holding a secondary school certificate in the years 2023 and 2024, 45 percent for those holding certificate from 2011 to 2022, 30 percent for certificate holders from 2004 to 2010, with differentiation among them, and 10 percent for those holding certificates before 2004. Prof. Muhamed Al Masri, the university vice-president for open education, participated in the observation tour.
