02/09/2024Al-Baath University starts to receive applications for the admission sorting of educational qualification (regular and parallel education) at the faculties of education in Homs and palmyra on 16 September 2024. The university vice-president for students and administrative affairs, Prof. Nidal Sattouf, and the member of party leadership at the university branch, Prof Adnan Al Shiekh Hammoud, have indicated that all necessary measures have been taken, noting that the applications have to be submitted to the registration center ( directorate of scientific research and postgraduate studies) in the building of central administration. Prof. Sattouf has pointed out that the number of students required in Homs is 272 in the specializations of arts and humanities, education, sharia, physical education, fine arts, political science, music education, and science. He has also referred that the number of students required at the Faculty of Education in Palmyra is 90 in the specializations of arts and humanities (Arabic – English and French – sociology and philosophy) and science (mathematical statistics – physics – chemistry – geology) and education (classroom teacher – psychology – kindergarten – techniques and management curricula) and physical education and political science. He has pointed out that the required documents for applying to the admission sorting are a stamped application form taken from the registration center after verifying the desires on the computer, a certified copy of the graduation certificate or a formal notification of graduation, a copy of the civil registration or a copy of personal ID or a copy of the passport for non-Syrian students, duly certified by the embassy of their country, in addition to a medical examination document from the university medical office and a bank payment notice for non-Syrian students.
