Workshop to introduce the announcements of the scientific research and technological development support fund

In order to introduce the announcements of the scientific research and technology development support fund for the year 2024, a workshop was held at the Faculty of Civil Engineering to provide support to the largest segment of researchers, in the presence of postgraduate students and faculty members. President of Al-Baath University, pointed out the importance of the workshop due to the fundamental role of the higher education sector in employing scientific research and its outputs in various sectors, which motivates researchers to present research projects with concrete research outputs that can be marketed and utilized in the development process. The university vice-president for postgraduate studies and scientific research affairs, Prof. Mahmoud Hadid, indicated to the role of the fund in supporting the scientific research and applied projects that contribute to solving the national level problems through collaborative efforts between the academic sectors. He also emphasized the need that youth and private sector benefit from the fund support, especially in innovation and entrepreneurship projects.
