Council of Al-Baath University sets the date of the complementary course exams for the final year students

The Faculty of Education in cooperation with the National Center for Curriculum Development held an educational symposium entitled “The Sustainable Future: The Journey of Digital Transformation on the Path to Green Education” at the Faculty of Civil Engineering. President of Al-Baath University, Prof. Abdul Basit Al Khatib, indicated that the digital transformation enables taking advantage of technological opportunities to solve many problems in educational systems, as technological developments, especially internet developments, provide unlimited and easily accessible information. He also pointed out that the development of the educational system has become in our time a constant need to prepare a generation capable of developing thinking skills and continuing self-education for achieving the sustainable development which is directly linked to green education. He also stressed the importance of the symposium as it aims to exchange experiences and enhance awareness of the importance of digital transformation in meeting green curricula objectives and overcoming all potential obstacles. The symposium was attended by the secretary of B.A.S.P branch at the university, Prof. Fayeq Shadood, the university vice-president for open education, Prof. Muhammad Al Masri, Firas Ayyash, director of Homs education directorate, Mr. Firas Ayyash, the dean of the Faculty of Education, representatives from the Ministry of Education, and a crowd of interested people.
