Architectural exhibition entitled “Prospects of interior architecture for shipping container home” at Al-Baath University

The Faculty of Architecture opened an architectural exhibition “Prospects of interior architecture for shipping container home” of the fourth year students.

President of Al-Baath University, Prof. Abdul Basit Al Khatib, has confirmed that the university is interested in holding exhibitions, events and various activities to display students’ work and distinguished projects, motivate their creativity, develop their spirit of competition, enhance their abilities and skills, and exchange expertise and experiences. He also praised the artistic and engineering works of students, which demonstrate their ingenuity in the architectural aesthetic field, thanking the teaching and educational staff at the Faculty of Architecture for their efforts in supervising students and guiding them in preparing scientific projects.

The university vice president for administrative and students’ affairs and the professor of the interior architecture course for fourth-year students,Prof. Nidal Sattouf, pointed out that the shipping container architecture is considered one of the future architectural trends due to its sustainability, efficiency, and speed of implementation. He also noted the necessity of spreading the culture of shipping container architecture during the coming years.

Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Prof. Rolana Rabea, indicated that the exhibition includes 30 works of art, including displays, maquettes, and videos . .

The member of party leadership at the university branch, Mr. Jaber Istanbouli, participated in the opening of the exhibition.
