A scientific and technical cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Agriculture at Al-Baath University and the Arab Company for Manufacturing Agricultural and Veterinary Drugs

10/12/2023Al-Baath University, in cooperation with Moscow State University of Technology “STANKIN” held olympiad for school and university students, at the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, with the participation of 370 students.
The university vice-president for scientific research and postgraduate studies affairs, Prof. Mahmoud Hadid, indicated that the university has paid a great interest in teaching Russian language and that the olympiad is a result of the agreement signed between both universities and gives the opportunity to enhance the participants’ Russian language. In addition, he congratulated the winners of the last year, wishing them all success.
Mrs. Anna Grankina, the representative of STANKIN University, thanked Al-Baath University for its continued interest in popularizing the Russian language in educational institutions, which contributes to raising the level of scientific and research relations between the two sides .
Director of the Syrian-Russian Center, Prof. Muslim Al-Abdullah, indicated that the school students who have been nominated through the Directorate of Education, the students of the center, and the students of the Higher Institute of Languages at Al-Baath University participated in the Olympics. He also added that the test is written and includes central questions from Russia, and that the papers will be corrected at STANKIN University.
The participating students expressed their happiness with the olympiad, which is considered a useful experience that nurtures their knowledge and skills in the field of Russian language.
Moreover, the olympiad included honouring 30 students of the schools and the Syrian-Russian Center, winners of the second Russian Language olympiad which was held at Al-Baath University last year.
