Al-Baath University participates in the activities of the third scientific week organized by the Syrian Petroleum Company

Al-Baath University participated in the activities of the third scientific week which was organized by the Syrian Petroleum Company over a period of five days. It included various lectures in the fields of oil, gas, geology, and mineral wealth.

Al-Baath University Vice-President for Scientific Research and Postgraduate Affairs, Prof. Mahmoud Hadid, and Prof. Abdul Sattar Al Kahil from Al Baath University participated with a lecture entitled “Drilling technology using casing tubes ( CWD) and the possibility of applying it in Syrian fields”

Prof. Hadid emphasized the importance of the university participation in such activities which promote researches and ideas that help in developing society and solving its problems, especially in the petroleum sector due to its great significance in the national economy. He also pointed out that the university is an integral part of society and a major contributor to the community capacity-building.

The lecturers were honored in appreciation of their efforts in the success of scientific week activities by exchanging and consolidating experiences among the cadres of petroleum sector.
