A master dissertation entitled “Studying land uses from Al-Makhram area using remote sensing techniques and geographic information systems” was discussed by the student Hassan Haidar Suleiman under the supervision of Prof. Nawaf Mansour, with the participation of Prof. Khairat Abbas.
The judging panel comprised the following professors: Prof. Ahmad Al Jurdi, Prof. Khairat Abbas, and Prof. Mohammad Melhem

At the end of the discussion, the researcher Hassan Haidar Suleiman was awarded a master’s degree in agricultural engineering with a very good grade and a mark 81.20%.
