With the participation of 28 researchers from Iraq and Syrian universities, the second Faculty of Education at Al Baath University has started the activities of the first educational symposium, entitled “Field training of future teachers between reality and aspirations ».
The university vice-president for scientific affairs, Prof. Maan Salama, stressed the importance of highlighting the challenges associated with training the future teachers in the field, indicating that the training aims to provide knowledge, experiences and skills necessary for practicing the profession by helping them to translate the theoretical methods into applied methods that contribute to the service of education and society. He wished that this symposium achieves its objectives by analyzing the current reality of the practical training of students and teachers, its importance, its appropriate methods and its future programs for achieving the targeted objectives.
The faculty vice-dean for the administrative affairs, Prof. Rana Al Hassan, indicated that the phase of elementary education is an important stage in the life of a child because of its impact on the construction of his personality in all its aspects .
