A training course at Al Baath University” Preparing a specialist in psychological counseling skills”

The Faculty of Education at Al Baath University held a training course entitled“Preparing a specialist in psychological counseling skills” with the participation of 24 trainees from all sectors.

President of Al Baath University, Prof. Abdul Basit Al Khatib, emphasized the importance of the training courses conducted by the university in developing the human caders and skills, indicating that such courses establish the link between the university and community as the preparation of youth educated with psychological counselling has become necessary.

The faculty dean, Prof. Fayez Yazbek, indicated that the importance of the course lies in preparing trainees who are specialized in the most important psychological skills and their theoritical and practical principles, as they are practically educated with the techniques for dealing with problems and psychiatric disorder. The course included 72 hours over eight days and was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Fayez Yazbek, Prof. Sara Wardah, Prof. Muhannad Ibrahim and Prof. Fadia Al juhani.

The participants in the course expressed the importance of acquired practical applications and skills. At the conclusion of the course, certificates were distributed to the participants.
