Syrian Collegiate Programming Contest ( tenth session) has started at the university with the participation of 39 teams of the faculties students.
Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Maen Salama, emphasized the importance of the contest, that involves 117 participants of 39 teams, in developing the programming skills and logical analysis. He also indicated that the university harnesses its potential for the success of the contest, the improvement of programmers’ capabilities and the enhancement of their competitiveness in the Local, regional and global market, especially that the university has achieved records in the competition and is able to achieve remarkable results at the international level .
Coordinator of the programming contest in Syria, Prof. Jaafar Al Khair, pointed out that the contest, which has become a constant scientific activity in Syrian universities, continues for the tenth year at Al Baath University, indicating that the competition is going on because of the efforts of students who have proven their capacities in informatics and the speed of solving algorithms within a competitive and enthusiastic atmosphere.
