The Council of Al Baath University holds its fifteenth session for the academic year 2022-2023
02/05/2023Inaugurating the fifth scientific dental conference at Al Baath University
03/05/2023With the participation of 28 lecturers from outside Syria and many countries (Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, England, Cuba, Finland, Britain, Colombia, UAE, China, India), the first international scientific conference for specializations in health sciences (physical therapy – nutrition – laboratory sciences) was opened at the Faculty of Health Sciences in cooperation with Al-Rashid International Private University for Science and Technology and in partnership with the Health Professions Syndicate and the Syrian Physical Therapy Association.
President of Al Baath University, Prof. Abdul Al Basit Al Khatib, affirmed that the university gives all attention and provides full support to these scientific symposiums and conferences that help in consolidating ideas and linking science with reality by applying scientific research in all institutions of society and benefiting from the presence of specialized professors in offering a distinguished educational service that complies with quality requirements and academic accreditation, especially that the labor market is in a big demand for health care jobs in various fields .
President of Al-Rasheed International Private University,Prof.Nasser Thallaj, indicated that this conference is an important platform for researchers, professionals, and students to share their knowledge and experiences. In addition, he referred that it is an opportunity to appreciate the diligent work of specialists in this field and to honor the contributions that have a positive impact on the profession of physical therapy and laboratory sciences, pointing out that Al-Rashid University is the first private university that teaches specializations of health sciences. He also added that the university is happy to cooperate with Al Baath University, as joined efforts were made for the success of the conference with a high academic level.
Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Hazem Dahman, noted that the current conference is a great achievement for the faculty as it educates the medical staff and the whole community about the importance of these specializations, which have become an urgent need in society, explaining the endeavor of the faculty to improve the level of the new graduates by developing the curriculum and lectures and holding such events, which will be the beginning of stronger and wider international conferences

The conference activities last for two days and include a number of scientific lectures by professors specialized in physiotherapy, laboratory sciences and nutrition . . . . . . . . . . .
The conference was also accompanied by an exhibition of medical equipment used in physiotherapy.
The secretary of B.A.S.P branch at the university, Prof. Fayeq Shadood, university vice-presidents, members of the party leadership at the university branch, the university secretary, the head of the national unionof Syrian students, the head of the teachers’ syndicate at the university, and a crowd of interested people attended the conference.
