President of Al Baath University, Prof. Abdul Basit Al Khatib, and the secretary of B.A.S.P branch at the university, Prof. Fayeq Shadood, inspected the progress of preparatory year exams for the students of medical faculties (first session) for the English language course (1). Prof. Al Khatib and Prof. Shadood praised the efforts exerted by the university presidency, employees and teaching staff to ensure the optimal progress of exams and overcome all obstacles. Prof. Al Khatib indicated that the number of new students sitting the English language exam is about 935 students and the number of students failing the exams is about 64 students. In addition, he pointed out that the preparatory year exam is another requirement for admission in addition to the grade of high school certificate of the academic year 2015-2016.
University vice-presidents, Prof. Maan Salameh and Prof. Elias Boutros, and the member of party leadership at the university branch, Mr. Jaber Istanbuli, participated in the observation tour.
