Al-Baath University, in cooperation with the Higher Institute for Water Management and the Syrian Engineers Syndicate, Homs Branch, held a training course entitled “The Basics of Using Water Evaluation and Planning System” at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, with the participation of 17 trainees from various bodies.
Prof. Maan Salameh gave a presentation on the importance of integrated water resources management in Syria, stressing the importance of such training courses for engineers working in the institutional sectors concerned with the water sector
. .
The course lasted for four days, during which future training plans were discussed with the managers and participants.
At the end of the event, certificates were distributed to the participants in the course.
The course activities were attended by Prof. Mamdouh Abara, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Eng. Ayman Naddaf, Director General of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Foundation, and Eng. Ismail Ismail, Director of Water Resources in Homs.
