Al-Baath University held an honoring ceremony for 124 top-ranked graduates of the technical institutes for the academic year 2021-2022 in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
President of Al Baath University, Prof. Abdul Basit Al Khatib, pointed to the role of technical institutes in graduating and qualifying young human cadres and providing them with a high level of knowledge to deal with modern technologies and changing labor market needs in the most important fields such as the engineering, information and agricultural fields, as the technical education is one of the components of Syrian higher education and gets wide attention by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for its importance in promoting the development process at the national level.
The secretary of B.A.S.P branch at the university, Prof. Fayeq Shadood, stressed that taking confident steps to improve and develop educational outcomes helps graduates of institutes to apply their theoretical knowledge practically and present projects that serve country and its institutions.
Mr. Mumtaz Al-Madani, Director of the Directorate of Technical Institutes, expressed his happiness in honoring this constellation of successful students and graduates who are the pillar of country reconstruction in the present and the future .

The honoring ceremony was attended by members of party leadership at the university branch, the head of teachers’ syndicate, directors of technical institutes at the university, students’ families and a crowd of interested people.
