11/06/2022The Presidency of Al-Baath University honored today Teaching Assistant Muhammad Al-Rajab, delegated from the Faculty of Agriculture at Al-Baath University with a specialization in food quality control to the Japanese-Russian Far Eastern Federal University for obtaining two patents registered in the Russian Federation.
Dr. Abdul Basit Al-Khatib, President of Al-Baath University, stressed that the researcher’s obtaining the two registered patents is evidence that the Syrian Arab researcher is strongly present in the research arena in various fields and scientific fields, noting the importance of honoring and supporting Syrian researchers and publishing their research in internationally refereed journals, which contribute significantly to raising The world ranking of Syrian universities. The university provides full support to its distinguished researchers who contribute through their scientific, applied and economic research to community service and sustainable development.
Dr. Maen Salama, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, pointed out that the researcher relied on focus, quality and quality in his research. Achieving this distinction was the result of his high professionalism, his enjoyment of scientific curiosity, perseverance, and following up on developments in his field of specialization. Stressing the necessity of translating the two patents to serve reality and society.
The researcher, Muhammad Rajab, expressed his happiness and gratitude for this honor, which motivates young researchers and encourages them to conduct scientific research in all fields, especially in the current stage. Noting that during his conduct of his doctoral research, two patents were registered in the Russian Federation, the first entitled "Production of a specialized caviar preparation" (singlely), and the second patent was registered under the title "Bioactive nutritional supplements for normalizing lipids" (in partnership), These two patents meet the requirements of preventive and curative nutrition for cardiovascular diseases, This invention relates to the production of specialized products used for preventive and curative nutrition. It allows obtaining products with a high content of omega-3 acids, recommended for patients with lipid metabolism disorders, the content of phospholipids in the caviar product is 9.2 g/100 g and the content of omega-3 is 10.5 g/100 g including EpA and DHA
It is noteworthy that the researcher, Muhammad Ragab, completed the stage of learning the language and his master’s research in a record period, and he is currently pursuing his doctoral research. These two patents also gained great interest in Russia, and the researcher obtained through them the best research at the regional level. Soon, these two patents will be published in an internationally refereed journal within the scope of Scopus.
